So weird to think of myself as a veteran. That was so long ago. I was a pencil pusher, I was a computer geek. Back when I was in the worst thing going on was Bosnia, I begged to be sent, call me naive, or well I just felt like it was my job! Today its the real deal and its been going on for THIRTEEN THiRTEEN Years!! Most of our kids this is all that they have known. War! I thank each and everyone of you past and present for defending us to the very end! My heart goes out to all men and woman in harms way and those who are left taking care of the families left behind. Ok I need to stop typing. I think this is why I dont look at my newsfeed on days like this. To much emotion and thoughts. We have endured so much. Watched a video last night with Ken and Derek Goodrich in it. Yep it was 13 years ago we were told our men and woman would be the first into Afghanistan, those were some of the most hardest days! Then i guess we all just got used to it. I love you Kenneth Gunter I am soo proud to be your wife. You are one hell of an amazing Soldier!! YOu have given so much, your time is coming to hang up that suite. But know that you have put in your time and you were never looked at like anything less than one hell of an amazing Dude and Soldier!! Yeah we dont take many pics as a family. LOL!
