So, what would you do? We were alerted about a dog who had been hanging around a commercial lot for at least eight months. Nobody could get close to it but some were leaving out food for it. We saw a far off picture and thought it looked close to a sheltie. What do you think? We take in all shelties that need a home. So we committed to take it if it could be trapped (and that was the only way it could be caught). We did personally see it closer up and realized that it was not a sheltie but we were already committed. After three days we got a call that the trapping was successful. What we got was a possible wheaten terrier mix. A sweetie and only a year old. Not the first time that we have been wrong on a picture and undoubtedly not the last. We named her Annie, after raggedy, and she is quickly adjusting to inside life and being a puppy. Anybody looking for a sheltie wannabe? Please share Annies story so we can find her a furever family!
