The Senate Intelligence Committee has made a serious error in releasing its report on post 9/11 interrogation techniques. This report puts American lives at risk around the world; ignores the reality that these methods saved American lives; smears the reputations of dedicated Americans who carried lawful methods which were not torture; and returns us to the blame America first days of the 1960s and 70s. This is a sorry day for America and the ultimate in ex post facto moralizing and self righteousness.
