So when I dropped the kids off this morning, one of the usual teachers who works carpool was not there and there was a sub in her place. When the door opens, first thing she asks is, does he have a jacket? I am all no hes fine. Then I looked at her eyes and realized she looked very familiar and her voice sounded very familiar. I could not place her but had an uncomfortable feeling. Like displaced anxiety I could not pinpoint. I kept seeing her face and could not place her. It was bothering me. So I call the school and on of the secretaries/one of the MVPs at the school humors me and finds out who it was. I DID know her and she used to be the secretary at the kids dentist office (and she has grown her hair out a lot and lightened it) and the best way I can put it is she was not my cup of tea. Just goes to show you...trust your instincts. I am sure she is perfectly lovely and the issue was mine but I KNEW I knew her voice and her eyes!
