So, while getting parking for jury duty today, I was witness to a hate crime. Some guy claimed a Pakistani parking attendant short changed him 20 bucks for parking. He was extremely belligerent and yelling in the attendants face calling him a sand n***** many times, among other cursing. I told the guy to knock it off, and he went back to his car, yelling the whole way. When I came back on break, the attendant came up to me and thanked me, but told me when I left the guy came back, took his money, smashed his glasses, and hit him several times before running away. I gave the attendant all the cash I had to help him pay for what the guy stole ($20). Apparently this racist guy was also on his way to jury duty. It makes me sad the shit people of color are subjected to. the attendant was a very brave man.
