So while most of your evenings consisted of dinner and a movie or watching the races or something relaxing. ...heres how mine went. Bobby brings my love Kya over to have dinner with me at work. I get my food...assault call! Dealt with that. .then a 24/7 violation. .deal with that go back to finish my supper. Finish eating. .get a tip on the whereabouts of a parole absconder. .Find him..He resists arrest, I tase him, he continues coming at me punching me in the mouth with my handcuffs that were still in my hands as Im trying to protect my face! I follow up with a dry stun..still pushes me up against the wall then runs past me and pulls the taser wires, breaking free...I chase after him, he throws a case of beer at me...I ran after him he got away..my hands were tingling like crazy so I can only assume I tased myself too. Mouth is fine...almost lost my supper I just finished eating. .then pure adrenaline dump. I was so exhausted afterwards. Made it HOME!! And I get to do it all over again at 0600! Lol and yes I still love my job!!
