So who gets elected interim president of SFs board of supervisors during one of the citys worst housing crises, a time when the disparity between the rich and poor is the widest in the country, a time when 2,200 children in our schools sleep in vans with their homeless families, a time when almost 7,000 people in the city are homeless, times are bleak in SF for the poor and the working-class and the board of supervisors selects a person to lead them who has done nothing to solve any of these problems, in fact, who has voted at times against measures to help solve the housing crisis, a yes-woman for the mayor, Katy Tang (as many people in this city including her own district have said, Katy who?)...and you wonder why I have absolutely no faith in the system, its so broken, my friends, that an army of technicians working night and day for a century couldnt fix it.
