So yeah, a really cool moment just now. Id settled into my favorite seat at my favorite cafe, getting out my iPad and notebook and pen in preparation for this afternoons bout of writing, when the young woman sitting next to me with her boss said, Mr Lundberg? My first thought: No! Theyve found me! But then I remembered I wasnt in a thriller and said, Um, yes? She introduced herself nervously and said she was a big fan of my writing, and that she appreciated how I was able to marry the fantastic with a Singaporean sensibility. I was so taken aback that all I could do was just say, Thank you a lot. And after another minute or two of conversation, she and her boss left. Im still a bit dazzled, but this has absolutely made my day. Folks, writers ALWAYS appreciate when you tell us how much you enjoy our work, or how much it means to you. Im going to take this positive energy, finish my latte, open my notebook, and Make some Great Art.
