So yesterday Mason first homework assignment was to fill a bag with 5-10 items that he loved or how people could identify him. Well he put all if favorite things food, toys and also a piece of one of Dakota s trees. As someone was pulling each item out an saying what it was, as they pulled the piece of tree out, the boy said, an we have a fake leaf. Once they identify Mason from his bag,they asked him why he had a fake leaf. His response was it is not fake it is a piece of tree that was planted for my sister in heaven she died before she was zero. So I alway cringe a bit when the kids tell me that they just bring Dakota up, especially to a new class. So I asked Mason well what was there response an he just said the whole class when ahhhhh. This boy makes me proud every day being his mom.
