So yesterday we had money stolen from the DCC bank account by someone who cashed forged checks at several banks. He was caught trying to cash another check and is in police custody. I pressed charges and today I spoke to the police. They sent me the mugshot and the man who cashed the checks is 49 years old and...well he looks homeless and like he might not all be there. They told me that fraud rings usually pay homeless people to go cash the checks so that they can take the fall if anything happens. I am at a serious moral quandary about what to do. This man is not the devil, ripping off a charity. He was a homeless guy who was told hed be able to eat if he just went and cashed some checks.
