So you announce a convention with a huge list of celebs, some very A list, in demand, as well as a lot of lesser known people and you sell tickets. Then a few celebs cancel. It happens. Then the convention cancels a few because the flight was more expensive than we thought, then other celbs cancel because of the con not fulfilling contractual obligations, then celebs cancel because no flight was booked Then the con cancels guests because of zoning concerns at the venue. Now you have sold tickets for the celebs canceled by the convention, but no refunds, because, well no refunds, but its all normal con buisness. This is why we cant have nice things
