So you wont see this for like 3 months because youre never on here, but Mr. Wark sir, you are such an amazing man! I am so lucky to get to love you! Youre sleeping now and I should be but Im awake and Im sitting here smiling and listening to music and thinking about our life together-past, present and future. Man, what a ride! I know that life is life and we have to do the day to day. Run errands, pay bills, go to work, shuffle kids, grocery shopping, lawn work, housecleaning, diaper changes and blah, blah, blah! And its all too easy to let the stresses of the day to day creep in and pull us away from our dance. But gosh how I absolutely Love this life that I get to dance with you! At the end of it all, whether its tomorrow or 60 years from now I will look back and say We did it. We lived. We truly lived. While the world was spinning around us in a fury, paychecks and status symbols, Starbucks and iPhones, gossip and social ladders, politics, religion, crazy pto moms, marriage equality, police brutality, and the newest silly trends, we were living. We were shutting the crazy world out and living. The two of us, the five of us. This was our world. Laughing and crying, talking for hours about everything and nothing at all, chasing each other around the house with pillows, cheesy jokes, board games, infinite weirdness that only we appreciate, indoor campouts in the back living room, endless bathroom humor, inappropriate butt grabbing, cooking dinner together, praying together, laughing until it hurt, forming the dying walrus family band so we could dance like white kids in the living room when nobody is watching, Betty Jo and all of our other silly alter egos, countless cuddle sessions, buying back massages for a quarter from Abiahs famous business venture, constant vases full of precious wilting dandelions on the kitchen table, our hairyo, our knight in shining arm hair that kills spiders for us, gingerbread massacres and eggplant babies. We had a lot of fun causing trouble when we were teenagers together. Weve had even more fun laughing at how young and dumb we were when we were teenagers! And well have even more fun laughing at ourselves when were older! Youre amazing. Youre more than I deserve. Thank you so much for this incredibly rich life youve given me.
