Social media has been all over his remarks this morning. His comments are not only a bit disingenuous what with advertising a certain supermarket and having his products stoked in other good supermarkets - and have probably contributed to the decline in cheaper, local alternatives, but also picks on the symptoms rather than the main culprits. Surely the backlash to this latest "food poverty" crusade could mean that actual organisations working with the poor get their voices heard for a change... hmmm, thought not.
