Solidarity to the 40 antifascists from the antifa social centre Distomo in Athens, arrested yesterday by Greek police while on patrol against neo-Nazis. Distomo is an anarchist, anti-fascist social centre that has recently opened inside an area of Athens, Agios Panteleimonas, that until recently predominantly supported the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party. The social centre is called Distomo after the massacre of June 10, 1944 in the Greek village of Distomo where the Waffen-SS, for over two hours, went door-to-door and massacred Greek civilians as retaliation for a partisan attack upon the unit.
