An undersea earthquake of magnitude 7.7 now downgraded to 7.4 occurred at 11:36pm tonight Near 111 km South of Kirakira, Makira Province, Solomon Islands, (Latitude 11.5 degrees South and Longitude 162.1 degrees East). Using the MOST Tsunami Model-Scenario 179, the following areas are under tsunami threat.
