Some Imo Youths Are Suffering From Short Sightedness - TopicsExpress

Some Imo Youths Are Suffering From Short Sightedness (Myopia): The actions and inactions of some Imo Youths is unfuturistic. They lack the thinking power. The problem with some Imo youths is that they have allowed sentiment to cover their vision from seeing and acknowledging facts. They have allowed temporal Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha oratory prowess to overshadow their sense of belonging- they hardly reason as future leaders. They are under the armpit of hired crowd which shrinks their second thought. Some lack basic economic principles as to know what Development is - some even say blink-blink roundabouts and building of halls is Development. Those type of projects are self-enriching. They are executed to enrich their bank accounts. I get appalled seeing those I think are reasonable still believe in the massive lies of Governor Okorocha. Hence, those of us who have had the opportunity to place adverts on electronic or print media know the huge amount involved. The money Rochas is wasting to advertise non-existing projects is enough to build a cassava processing plant where cassava can be processed to help raise the economic standard of our rural dwellers. The N500m he used in settling his thugs and polling agents in the oil rich kingdom of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta LGAs is enough to build a standard poultry and fish pond(not the caricature of Avutu poultry) which will increase the state IGR and also create employment for the hungry Imo youths. As an economist, I know the essence of development is to increase the social and economic standard of the people. However, I challenge the e-boys of Governor Rochas Okorocha to defend their principal here: What is the economic standard of Imo people considering the alleged developmental strides of your principal? A YES or NO answer, Has Poverty increased or not? ------------------------------------------------ Comr. Godwins NDUKA. Whos thinking the future Of Imo state?
