Some Muslims in Nigeria make me laugh so hard. You know why? They see themselves as the holiest in the whole world. And their childish reactions atimes are really really very pitiable. I just shake my head. In 2005, there was an offensive cartoon about Prophet Muhammed made in Denmark & there were various reactions all over the world, but it was most explosive in northern Nigeria. Some of them went on the streets, destroyed cars of innocent people, set buildings on fire and killed people for nothing. Even Muslims in Saudi Arabia where the Prophet was born did not kill anybody or destroy anything but our own here broke bottles and smashed heads. Same in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. No one killed anybody. Even in Indonesia, the largest Muslim nation on earth, all we saw were peaceful protests, no one killed anybody. Is anything wrong with the Nigerian brand of Islam? Could it be the debilitating mixture of hunger, poverty, ignorance and illiteracy? Because those nations I have mentioned are ultra wealth countries. You ask yourself. Any time I post anything related to Muslims and Islam , you will see all kinds of threats, insults & curses, not that I am bothered the fact is that am a muslim but that doesnt make me not to speak my mind, I am just amused because I have actually lived &related with Arabs,Iranians,jews and various people of various faiths from various parts of the globe and they are not as mad as Nigerians are when it comes to religion. Yes, there are fanatics everywhere but not as prevalent as in Nigeria. I will make a post condemning the silence of some Nigerian Muslim clerics over BokoHaram and you will see someone saying #prince, you are a hater of Islam and Allah will destroy you (like that dude who comes here everyday to call me the biggest antichrist in the world...lol). So if Allah destroys me, what will He do to Shekau? Make him a senator? Or give him a contract? See, you really need to get one thing straight I am for just one thing: using information and sparking discussions to highlight and correct the ills of this sick society we call Nigeria. If you are allergic to the truth and brutal honesty, this is the very wrong page for you. In fact, the wrongest place for you because you will not even last here...lol Even the Quran tells Muslims to use the brains theyve been endowed with. And I think the first instruction or revelation to Muslims was what? READ!!! So, read my posts well, think and let it digest well before you comment. If you cannot do any of that, just slide pass.
