Some false teachers have managed to confuse/ convince people that there was a period in history that the holy spirit sort of stopped to inspire people, so that they could justify the removal of Bible books! And called the books appocripher? That period, they suggest, was the years just before Jesus was born? But they do not prove why God would have loved to be silent in such a crucial moment !? But the Bible tells us about a very old prophet ( Simeon ) Luke 2 v25-28: who had been promised by the holy spirit that, he would not die until he had seen with his own eyes the Messiah ! And another old widow, a prophetess Anna, almost 100yrs old, came to witness Jesus in the Temple (luke 2v36-38) ! So which period can be justified/claimed that the holy spirit was quite ?
