Some good points here! National Dog Wardens Association say that more than 40% of chipped dogs they pick up have incomplete or inaccurate information meaning they cant contact their owners. As it is National Microchipping Month can we ask that you remind your FB friends that it is so very important to get their pets chip checked frequently and remember to update their contact details ( mobile phones are the most frequently changed- remember to update your number changes with your chip database providers) Chip checking is free and so easy to do- get it done at every vet visit!
