Some have been asking what can we effectively do for Gaza, and therefore Im using this post to suggest ideas but also to ask you all to post some of your own in the hope we can all collectively contribute! Here are some: 1. Leverage social media and speak the truth! This is an obvious one and we need to keep at it! The viral nature of this tool is an attribute that we cannot ignore! 2. Visit those injured in our hospitals! Just being there, listening and offering a shoulder for their families to cry on can help! Do it low key without pics or fanfare! Respect their privacy and always remember what they are going through. 3. Support existing online movements that have been doing a lot already! Can we create a list here! 4. Contribute to UNRWA and other reputable organization that can guarantee that your money goes to those in need! Who has some of their URLs? 5. Look at establishing a private sector fund to support a strong online campaign that can address the West and in particular the US to break the bias in the news. 6. Try to avoid emotions, foul language and distinguish between Jews and hard line zionists! And remember the audience we are trying to influence! We need to be smart here! 7. Support and promote the BSD movement! We need to hit Israel where it hurts and that is its pocket! This is what comes to mind! Share yours here please....
