Some liberal media have noticed Obama pushing fast-track for the secret trade treaties being negotiated by multinational lobbyists. Huffington Post calls it “Schizophrenia” to talk about middle-class jobs and fast-tracking TPP. It’s not schizophrenia, it’s simply lying. The Guardian says Obama is “ready to defy Democrats to push secretive trade deal”. Without a hint of sarcasm, the Guardian says “The Trans Pacific Partnership is a trade agreement so significant and important, its details can’t be disclosed.” The TPP goes far beyond “trade” and anything this “significant and important” must be transparent and debated in public. But elected representatives from all the countries involved can not even see the agreement. Fast-track means they will have very little time to even read the bill, as has become standard procedure by both Pelosi and Boehner, and no changes will be allowed. The only thing we know about it is what has been leaked by Wikileaks. And that brings us to the comprehensive moves to control the internet. There is a multi-pronged attack on the free internet: • FCC Control • CISPA • New Felonies with an expanded CFAA • and the Trade Treaties themselves FCC control of the internet is being sold as a means of net neutrality. The FCC fought against neutrality before they were for it. Like scheming politicians, the FCC bureaucrats could care less about the issue and are just using it to gain regulatory control of the internet.
