Some may wonder where I get my world view. Heres a little insight on my position. The Supreme Court case discussed in this MSNBC clip is REAL. I discovered it about 15yrs ago. To keep this from turning into a dissertation heres the point. The U.S. Supreme Court concluded that blacks in this country had no rights that a white man had to respect. I realize to the assimilationist this sounds unbelievable. Just another one of those black power rants meant to cause division. This conclusion is still on the books today. Before you educated Negroes comfortable in your everyday corporate interactions disagree. The argument stating that the 14th amendment supersedes this is not valid Constitutional Law dosent exactly work that way. This has nothing to do with you choosing not to see it that way. The country was never set up for you to be a citizen. What exist is legislation that gives the appearance of citizenship. The voting rights act for example. Why would citizens need to have the right to vote constantly renewed. If you are a citizen just make the right permanent. Right? But you are not and the law states as such. Even if all of this has been mentioned in the institutions of higher learning the context has skewed to appear less hostile than it really is. High incarceration, low conviction rate for police killing unarmed black men. What hasnt been understood is that racism white supremacy is the foundational cornerstone of this country not individual prejudice. Racism white supremacy is a real system. Regardless to your level of comprehension. If you dont understand that or you choose not to see it that way everything in this country that you think you understand will only confuse you. If this drawn out post dosent resonate. Just listen to the mantra recited by the journalist at the end of this segment and keep in mind that thats the law thats still on the books in this country. PEACE
