Some no-talent douchecanoe from the BTB Cantina Comedy Club in Ann Arbor totally stole artwork from the Vagina Monologues (artwork that a castmember designed) and turned it into something really dumb and foul. Id encourage you all to avoid that place, if you dont already. I sent the following email to their contact (cantinacomedy@gmail) for good measure: Hey dude, So, lets talk about your poster for this Fridays Shit Show, shall we? A.) Its really unimpressive and uncool of you (or whomever works with you) to steal someone elses original art. This leads me to believe that there isnt much talent in the group and that this comedy show will be both unoriginal and unfunny. B.) Im concerned that you dont have a firm understanding of the female body. There may be many reasons you dont know much about them (poor education system, youve never come in contact with one, you are a being from another planet), but Ill tell you why its abundantly clear you have no clue. Shit comes from someones asshole. The picture you so happily jacked from someone else (see exhibit A) is very clearly a vulva/vagina (have I lost you yet?) or at least in the general neighborhood of the vagina. If you need, Ill send you some educational literature on the female anatomy. C.) Comedy is brazen, its a little over the top, hell, its sometimes offensive. But most importantly, it should be clever and original. Your poster (and the above mentioned concerns) has encouraged me and every other person I come in contact with not to attend your shows. Drop these posters and do some real work, for crying out loud.
