Some of my wildest memories are from airports: 36 hours in the Damascus airport without food; flying around the world unchaperoned at age 11 with my 13 year-old sister; randomly running into my Dad in the Chicago airport when he was living in Honduras and I was living in Los Angeles; packing a vintage Yemeni musket as a carry-on through the Sanaa airport. And so many more. Im sitting in Bangkoks Suvarnabhumi Airport now, heading to Dhaka. I feel alive every time I fly, and nothing is better than flying to go see my young friends in Bangladesh. Its strange to have the job that I do, but I feel made to connect the world together to pursue justice. Hoping that small starts in Thailand and Bangladesh are just the beginning.
