Some of those working at the BBC must have been raging at the sight of Scotlands bowling stars celebrating after they knocked the English team out of the tournament to make it into the finals. I hear that as Scotland were homing in on a gold medal against Malaysia last night the BBC cut the game off air and showed a preliminary Hockey match involving England instead... denying the bowling public of Scotland and the Commonwealth their moment of glory. Got to say Im not in the least bit surprised by this. They spite us in just about every other way, especially politically, which was why there was another protest outside their offices with over 1200 demonstrating against their biased broadcasting. The third of its kind. The authorities at the games have even got stewards taking peoples Yes We Can Saltires and leaving people with union flags. Admittedly nothing to do with the BBC, but wheres the consistency ? Wheres the equality from these people ? Good old union eh. Who wouldnt want to be part of this ? Perhaps 67 of the 71 countries taking part in the games, (or 68). Wonder why none of them have asked to get back into a union with London in control again ? You know, best of both worlds and all that ? Genuinely puzzled with that. O.o Bowls Scotland have complained directly to the BBC and await a response.
