Some of you called to purchase renters insurance the day before the storm and was a little surprised that the rate was a little higher than it was a week ago. Now my friends think for a moment, even if the price had increased because you did not purchase the policy when there was no storm coming; the price of the insurance would have been less than one pair of your shoes, less than the cost of your lap top or any of your other electronics in your apartment or home. Alright that is in the past, call today and get renters’ insurance. It will protect all of your possessions. Did you know for those of you whose teens are going to college, your renters’ insurance in most cases will protect your child’s possessions in their college dorm room? But I would advise you actually just to get a renters’ policy for their dorm room because if there is a claim it would go against that policy and not against your actual home or renters’ policy.
