Some of you may know, but I facilitate a monthly meeting for foster families for maple valley and all of the surrounding areas. Our meetings gave grown tremendously. Last nights meeting had 88 people with 54 of them children. Do you want to make a difference in these kids lives? We are starting a mentor program where you can be like a big sister, big brother to these kids. Of course you will need to come to meetings to get to know the kids as well as the parents, but the meetings are so fun and we need more volunteers to help with our kids. We are also buying a pair of shoes for every one of our children for Christmas, so another way to help is to buy a pair of shoes, we have their sizes. I also always need sponsors for the dinners. I can feed all of the for about $140. You are your business gets recognition by our flyers and websites. Remember, not everyone can be a foster parent, but anyone can help a foster child.
