Some of you may not know that I rescued a baby pig in 2009. I was told he would not grow to be more than 50 lbs. We named him Sweat Pea. He was the runt of his liter and was pretty beat up when we got him. He was awesome! I used to carry him around in my shirt! Well, he grew and grew QUICKLY! We found out that his mother was 1,100 lbs and he was 300 lbs when we found him a home (as he outgrew ours!). I loved that pis something crazy! This is Esther the Wonder Pig! Her story is similar. They are trying to build her a sanctuary in Canada. Please watch the video. Pigs are amazing, loving, and smart creatures! I would be the happiest on a farm. Please consider not eating pork! (had to throw that in there!) - ; )
