Some of your comments Ikhuoria Paul Robert: I know Boko Haram and all those so called Islamist militant group, doesnt represent Muslims in general. However, they claim to be fighting a so called holy war or jihad, which i know Allah or God doesnt support in anyway. Thus, my question here is: in as much Islam preaches peace to its followers, why are religious extremist commonplace in Islam than any other religion? Sheik pls enlighten me on this. Thank you! 27 May at 13:24 ========== Islam as a state has its defence system. When the Caliphate system crumbled like the Christendom before it the subsequent states that evolved couldnt not protect the rights of Muslims in their various regions therefore evolve these militant groups in lieu of the state trying to assert their rights. But as we know groups that are sometimes in conflicts within and with others can only compound issues resulting in terrorism. Basically, lack of strong Islamic leadership, sound Islamic knowledge and the encroachment of Muslims rights all over the globe are the root cause of terrorism that is attributed to Muslims. Knowing fully well that its no exclusive to them. That is why before 1945 the creation of Israel there was no such thing at all. The way out is for Muslims to evolve good leadership they respect and help in tackling issues through the power of the state.
