Instead of actively seeking Him, they passively expect Him to come to their aid without any effort on their part. They ignore Jesus’ words: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find” (Matthew 7:7). If you have never trusted Christ for your salvation, don’t sit back and wait for a better time to accept Him; it may never come. And if you do know Christ but are struggling with some problem or decision, don’t try to solve it on your own. Commit it to God and seek His will without delay.
