Some people may have heard what is going on with my mom but for the people that dont know let me explain.on September 19th my mom woke up thinking she had the flu.so she stayed home from work but when me and Jen got home from work she just wasnt looking good so Jen went to help her with something she noticed that her leg was swollen and bright red.so we decided it was time to go to the er. When we got there they started doing test just to see how bad it was well it started out not to bad until Saturday when the infection found its way into her blood.which made her even more sick.so they started pumping antibiotics into her.which we thought that things were going to be good until all the fluids had backed up on her organs.my mom was the sickest I have ever seen.her heart was racing as fast as a marathon runner and she was just laying in bed.my mom laid in bed for two days of not talking or opening her eyes for us.it was one of the scariest times of my life thinking I may lose my mom.so on Thursday she finally started to talk and her heart rate went down but her leg was just not getting better.so now with all other things looking better they are putting in a pic line so she can get antibiotics that go straight into the blood stream.then came today when some decisions had to be made.mom had to be admitted to a physical rehab nursing home which we are hoping that will be a very short stay.I think me and Jen are having a harder time with it then mom but its just hard to be in this situation.my mom means the world to me I just want her home.so please pray for a fast and easy recovery.
