Some people see our speaking up as conviction to doing what is right. However, it might not even be about conviction at this point, but the survival and longevity of our nation. Speaking up means protecting our country and its no longer a matter about conviction, but loyalty to ourselves and to our lives. A country skewed by policies which endanger its longevity is one worthy of every citizen to speak up for. Not for conviction. But for our own survival. Whether or not change will come will depend on Singaporeans recognition of the policies that can be our countrys undoing, and then speak up, to protect our very lives, simply just to survive. Are we hungry enough to want to live?
