Some people will find the reaction of this father to his murdered son confusing but others will understand that to people of faith, the firm belief that a person who has died is a martyr is a source of huge comfort, relief and pride. The people who are being murdered in Gaza right now are innocent victims of occupation, oppression and torture and I pray that every mother, father, son and daughter there is blessed enough to have the same serenity, certainty and faith that this father is fortunate enough to have.
