Some recent finds while exploring southern Arizona with visiting amigos from afar.... L - R: Senticolis triaspis intermedia (Santa Cruz County, Arizona), Lactrodectus hesperus (Maricopa County, Arizona), Micruroides euryxanthus (Gila County, Arizona), Phrynosoma hernandesi, juvenile (Maricopa County, Arizona), Cophosaurus texana (Maricopa County, Arizona), Crotalus lepidus klauberi (Cochise County, Arizona), and Crotalus willardi (Cochise County, Arizona). The oddly-spotted lepidus had numerous clusters of red mites under its scales, Im guessing due to a bumper crop of them in the late wet weather.
