Some residents out on their shores and have refused meters. So far Iw have respected their wishes and not installed meters.although very peaceful there is a large garda presence in Grangemore. People its as simple as this if you dont want a meter come out of your house and tell them so. We will stand beside you and support you but we cannot do it for you while you are inside in your home.there is nothing to be afraid of except fear itself. We are peaceful protesters. There are currently people from many surrounding areas in Grangemore assisting residents and holding the shores of people who are in work. But we need more residents to come out Even if you live on a different road to that being metered you need to show your support for fellow residents as they will stand with you when your turn comes to be metered. This movement is all about ordinary people helping other people. There is no other agenda but to abolish this farce of a company that wants to charge twice for water and load extra costs on to people. They are preparing the way for priviasation and then you will pay far more. If you are in a unionised workplace put pressure on your union to support the anti metering and charges protest. We need to fight this together for our future and that of our children. I implore you to get involved. Support the protest dont leave it to someone else you are that someone. Come make a difference once you take that first step out your door you are half way there. Thankyou
