Some thoughts on what we can do... 1. Develop data driven strategies to expose and fight systemic racism and injustice. 2. Look at laws and policies that support it and develop point men/women who will be the faces of the movement to bring these issues to the forefront using all forms of media. 3. Create media to inform and uplift black people (promoting family values, education, community care and policing, ending the no snitching code, respect for elders, love, etc) while helping non-blacks who believe in the mission to understand the significant role that they play. 4. Train students how to advocate and push the message nationally through nonviolent protests, demonstrations, advocacy, politics and other activities (and no, I am not talking about marching). 5. A strong push for voter registration, searching for candidates to put our votes behind, ACTUALLY VOTING (even if we have to coordinate transportation for people). 5. Develop a system of holding elected officials accountable for addressing social ills at all levels from local to federal. Its a start.....
