Some time ago I shut down my page as I felt I had accomplished my goal: getting the information out there for people to make informed decisions. From there I thought my input was not needed. Unfortunately, recent activity by individuals in the Forest Hills School District and misleading information being disseminated by the committee for the bond has forced me to reconsider that position. While I stand my ground on my beliefs and hopes for the district, the debate itself has gotten too personal. Therefore, I am turning my page, For Forest Hills, over to the A Better Way For Forest Hills Committee. The committee will maintain the page and provide FACTUAL information about the bond levy issue. The district and the bond levy committee are continuing to provide inaccurate and misleading information to the voters via their facebook page and the Around Anderson Township newsletter (which is written by a bond levy committee member). Without engaging negatively in either of those formats, A Better Way does need an outlet to get the facts out to you – the voters. Therefore, I’ve agreed to turn this page over to the committee. I understand that many of you may have “liked” this page for various reasons, and I do not want to assume that you want to receive this information. Please “unlike” For Forest Hills if you are not interested in this information. I still encourage you to get as informed as you can then decide for yourselves as you vote next Tuesday.
