Some times I am not sure my posts ever appear. I wanted to be sure to honor my Grandfather, Marion James Gray, he fought in WW1, Europe. I wish I knew more about it but never got to talk to him about it much. He was mustard gassed and suffered the rest of his short life in pain and misery. He was youngest soldier from LC, maybe Tenn. He came back to LC and fought to live with emphysema and other lung problems. He fought to get a breath of air. He fought to walk a few steps without oxygen. I remember hearing him coughing and gasping for air. His life was very difficult and he died a horrible death at age 59. And the wars continue still. And the soldiers continue to perform their duty without question. Thank you all.
