Some training for my 28th birthday. I woke up this morning down at 154 lbs., so Ive been spending much of my day eating ice cream and pancakes. I wanted to go in and have some fun, so I broke a few easy PRs; my knee has been gimpy lately, but there was no pain once I put on my wraps. The squat depth really leaves a lot to be desired, but I just need to regain my confidence. The good news is that this is about 90% of what I squatted at RUM, and I weighed about ten pounds less for this training session than when I was actually on the platform at that meet. So, Ive got a long way to go, but I do feel like Im stronger across all three lifts now versus six months ago. Thanks to everyone that was there today for the training, and thanks for all the birthday well-wishing; Im going to try to use this time to catch up with some people.
