Some very special children need you to protect them TODAY. PLEASE SEND AND EMAIL FOR THEM TODAY. WE KNOW -Some children suffer horrendous experiences in school for them school is a living hell. This could be due to disability, sensory or mental health issues or many other reasons. Parents have responsibility for how the educate their child. Sometimes up taking their legal right to take the child out of school is the only option to save, restore, heal, and allow a child to grow, develop and thrive instead of suffering, which sometimes sadly leads to suicide. Sometimes only choice parents have in these situations is to home educate. De registering the child from school and taking on to arrange education at home. This option can provide crucially needed relief from suffering. TODAY is the closing date for responding to the Education and Library Boards Draft Home Education Policy. Maybe you don’t need this option now but you never know if your child needs it in the future. So please support parents and children who do need this option (or simply opt to educate at home) and save them from the further suffering this draft implies; adding insult to injury the system already inflicted on their child. The draft proposes an inappropriate approach of negative suspicion, illegal inspections and interviews and generally adopts a negative draconian approach to parents home educating rather than a more appropriate positive supportive, trust building, and resourcing role.
