Some villains, via Icon. Story: A super powered battle raged on the streets. Five common thugs took advantage of the chaos and decided to raid a magic shop, while its owner helped with the battle outside. They pilfered several knickknacks, but their prize find was a beautiful set of armor. Their leader donned the armor... but its power was too great. He only had two pieces on before the magic overtook him. He exploded in front of his cronies. The other four discovered that wearing only one piece gave them superhuman powers without destroying them; the gauntlets gave super strength, the breastplate gave invulnerability, the boots/leggings gave super speed and agility, and the helm gave telekinetic powers. Splitting up the armor, they are finally contenders with the other heroes and villains. They call themselves collectively The Armor of Metatron.
