Somebody said that sometimes God’s answer to a Christian’s prayer is “NO”, because God has something BETTER for us! That SOMEBODY was the devil! GOD’S WORD says that: · 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.[2Chr7:14] MANY MANY prayers go unanswered because Christians have NO REGRETS about the sins THEY HAVE NOT REPENTED OF, that involves them, PERSONALLY and DIRECTLY, in the death of Jesus Christ![1Jo2:2] They are TOO PROUD to HUMBLE THEMSELVES!! While God is waiting for them to HUMBLY REPENT, they CHOOSE TO BELIEVE A LYING DEVIL, who says that God has something BETTER for them! God is NOT a [lying] “man upstairs”! Another of the devil’s LIES is that ‘God is the man upstairs’! · Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? God’s WORD would NEVER have said that we can have CONFIDENCE [1Jo5:14], IF sometimes His answer is going to be NO! IF GOD PROMISED US, SHALL HE NOT MAKE HIS PROMISE GOOD?! Don’t expect to get what you pray for OUTSIDE OF GOD’S WILL, like praying that He gives me another man’s wife, etc. Ijs. BE BLESSED!!
