Something Cosmic (or just a drink coaster) Exhibit On October 4, 2013 a cosmic artistic opening reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Douglas Library, Main Street, Canaan, CT. Inspired by the painted tile work he observed during a trip to Sciacca, Sicily local artist Bernie Re has created dozens of 4 x 4 inch tiles using a variation of the colorful majolica glaze painting technique that he saw there. All tiles are cork backed and suitable for functional or decorative use in your home or office. A portion of all sales will donated to the library.
