Sometime some mischevious war mongering fanatics under the guise of Islam will hide under the Quran to support their heinous crime thereby impugning on the integrity of the Holy Book. When the Quran talked about fight against the enemy it was only refering to Satan and his host of unseen forces not fellow man, whom Allah (SWT) would love being converted to Islam which is peace, as the reign of God in mans life bring peace (Islam). The Quaran further enlightened on how to fight Satan, by being constantly pure, remembering God constantly, dwell upon his books and avoid every Satanic attitude that led to his fall . That quaranic verse said we must constantly be on the offensive against the Satan by constantly practising these tenets. It never said we should go up in arms against our fellow man. If Muhammed ( peace be unto him) had killed all Satanic Arabs in His era, who would have assisted in the propagation of Islam that we now kill our fellow men over. If you look at the assertion of this verse, Quaran 4 V 76, you will see that it is in tandem with the Biblical injunction that we should flee from all appearances of the devil. Rather than for the Christians and Muslims to combine forces against the power of darkness, we keep exposing ourselves to the advantage of the evil forces.
