Sometimes, I just have to share. I received this question from an eBayer this morning: I was just curious how well you thought this could hold up to bad weather... most notably hail? Obviously, being made of glass, I would think it would be quite vulnerable. What are your thoughts? And me, being me, responded: Its a pretty good guess, because it is made of glass, that hail, all acts of God, including but not limited to hail storms, ice storms, high winds, hurricanes and tornadoes, acts of War and/or terrorism, being struck by a baseball, golf ball, horseshoe, softball, beer can, any other object used in a sport or assumed sporting event, being hit with a stick while your children are trying to open a pinata, and/or being shot by any type of firearm, including but not limited to BB guns, pellet rifles, and/or including a surface to air missile, and anything else that would cause an object to hit and/or smash into it at a high rate of speed, would probably do significant damage to the birdhouse... ;) Debbie Dobby Stained Glass
