Sometimes I think the political world and the world of misinformation interferes with our (U.S.) ability to interpret Venezuela fairly. This video epitomizes what Venezuela is, it´s great energy, it´s playful and kind people. Dudamel is kind of a wonder of the world that I don´t think many U.S. folks know about. Here he is leading high schoolers (yes they are kids and it´s probably as good as the best professional orchestras of the world). E.Mc There is a poetry to the whole thing that I could go on and on about but at it´s most basic, even the famous Venezuelans are generally down-to-earth and trying to give the world all they have at 110% to use their gifts for greatness.
