Sometimes life lessons come out of the simplest and unexpected - TopicsExpress

Sometimes life lessons come out of the simplest and unexpected things. For instance, I recently was doing some crocheting and ran into a few tangles in my yarn. The more I pulled and tried to make the yarn do what I wanted it to do, the more tangled it had become. Much like in our own lives there are many times that we come upon tangles and hang-ups, we try our hardest to fix them, but only seem to make them worse. I worked and worked for hours trying to untangle the mess, making little progress. The more I worked, the more frustrated I became. I was almost in tears (I know its just yarn, but I had a purpose for this yarn), I just wanted my beautiful yarn to be back to the way it was, especially after all the time I had already spent trying to fix it. I finally decided that I only had two choices, I could cut the tangles out or just throw it all away. If I cut the tangles out, my yarn wouldnt be the same but I would have salvageable pieces that I could still make something beautiful out of. But if I was to throw it away, I would have nothing left, nothing to hang on to. So I decided to just cut the places that were causing the tangles and move on. Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is cut the things out in your life that cause so many problems. It wont be the same but it can still be beautiful
