Sometimes multi tasking works...sometimes, not so much. Lots to do, so I decided to get the oil changed and fill up my propane for tonights barbecue at the same time, at a little local garage down here called Alexs. That part went well. While I was there, I decided to try the tiny attached diner, which apparently used to be called Alexs Diner, but is now the Corner Cafe. I read one review on Yelp that said it was like stepping into the 1960, and they were absolutely right. It was definitely a very old fashioned Mom and Pop type of place. Food - Not bad, nothing to write home about Service - Excellent. Price - high, almost $9 after tax for 2 eggs, 3 bacon, 4 pieces of toast a big mess of hash browns. Atmosphere - hilarious. The locals kept the conversation going, and one lady with a strong East Coast accent was the life of the party. All in all, not bad...but I wish Flashbacks Diner opened early...
