Sometimes the best things that happen are unexpected. :) Yesterday I’d planned to devote my time to creating my new newsletter and to getting my new review team in the works. Instead, I spent most of the day chatting with another author, one I admire and respect, discussing all manner of “writerly” subjects (you know, the good, the bad and the ugly). I don’t know if we managed to solve any publishing dilemmas, but we had a ball trying. The rest of my time was spent catching up with a dear old friend from grade school who I haven’t talked to in many years. She found me through my personal Facebook account. I was surprised and delighted! So, while I got very little work-related stuff accomplished, I ended up enjoying a most fabulous New Year’s Day! :)
