Sometimes, were afraid to speak up for Jesus; oftentimes, we dont know what to say, and shy away from any confrontation; we want to get along with everybody. I love people, and I enjoy getting along with them. However, there is a time when a thus sayeth The Lord, is in order. Its never fun being an odd duck, in the workplace, or anywhere for that matter. But, as the saying goes, if you dont stand up for something, youll fall for anything. We dont have to bonk anyone over the head. :) We just need to quote Gods Word in a friendly, loving manner. Why not? Many people voice their opinion, or thoughts on matters of grave importance, so why shouldnt we? Gods Word should be spoken in love, never in a harsh manner. If youre afraid of what to say, or how to say it, this is what Matthew 10:19 says, to give you courage: But when they deliver you up, take no thought or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. Instead of trying to please the world all the time (which is impossible), why not please The Lord? He will never leave you or forsake you, and you will be abundantly blessed for your faithfulness. :)
